By ECONOMIC CONFIDENTIAL
This approved Salaries and Allowances of Federal Executive Office Holders as the remuneration package is contained in the Act of 2008 provides salaries and allowances of “Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders” was recommended by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission. The Economic Confidential magazine gathered that any salary or allowance outside the recommended package is unconstitutional, illegal as accounting officers of such organisations should be held accountable.
The Economic Confidential provides below the breakdowns of Regular and Non-Regular Allowances for Federal Executive Office Holders in Nigeria from President, Vice President, Minister, SGF, Chairmen of constitutional bodies and their members, Special advisers, Permanent Secretaries, Director General and FCT Area Council Chairman, Councillors and their Advisers. Some items are to-be-provided (TBP) while others are Not-Applicable (NA) as indicated in the table below.
