Steve Ugbah, ACN governorship candidate in Benue
The Action Congress of Nigeria Benue Chapter has assembled a team of 105 lawyers and 65 forensic experts to prosecute their governorship election petition. The legal team consists of seasoned and veteran Senior Advocates of Nigeria and other erudite legal practitioners of international repute who have made a mark in election petitions.
The forensic experts, organized by Benue citizens in The Diaspora, are also said to be world-class and have been involved in similar cases around the world including the US and UK elections. The party says it has a cache of evidence from the governorship elections that will aid them to proof their case before the tribunal.
Gabriel Suswam, the incumbent and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the keenly contested election won Steve Ugbah, the ACN candidate with over ninety thousand votes.
