  4. Zamfara –  A protester was reportedly killed in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State. 300 others were reportedly injured. The yet to be identified protester is the second to be killed by the Police since the protest began on January 2.

  20. Midway into Day Four, speculations emerged on Social media that Reuben Abati, spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan, has resigned his appointment. Mr Abati was a critical Newspaper columnist before his appoint as media assistant to the president. In 2009 he predicted the catastrophe he is now defending in an article.
